• Summer Concert Series, Wednesday evenings July – August 2010, Amphitheater & Plaza every year, Oakwood Homes sponsors free weekly concerts at the outdoor amphitheater — open to the public — for the enjoyment of residents and their guests. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Concerts dates and times:

• DPS, Evie Garret Dennis Campus Grand Opening Celebration with concert and fireworks - Tuesday, August 14


• Colorado Open, GVR Golf Club - The Colorado Open has long been recognized as one of the best, if not the best, state opens in the country. Hosted by Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, the HealthONE Colorado Open will bring some of the world’s finest golfers to Green Valley Ranch. Admission is free of charge for spectators, and contests and giveaways will take place throughout the tournament. More details to follow.

• Gobble Wobble 5K Race & Family Fun Run, November 20, 2010 - This 5K race and 1-mile family fun run will help support the Green Valley Ranch Foundation, which helps fund GVR community events like the area youth programs and public art projects that will be placed throughout the community.


• Holiday Tree Lighting, December 4, 2010, GVR Plaza & Rec Center Hundreds of people of all ages come out for our annual tree lighting. Carolers, and a free dessert buffet all complement the lighting of a beautiful 30-foot tree.
